SAP Consultants

Already an SAP Consultant and looking for a new challenge?

We are keen to hear from people that are currently working in an SAP consultant role, with configuration experience in SAP Supply Chain modules, particularly EWM. We have opportunities for consultants with differing levels of experience and our recruitment team can talk you through the variety of roles we have.

Many of our consultants are heavily involved in project work, working on full lifecycle EWM and WM implementations from initial design and scope through to implementation and go-live. They work with global customers on large-scale SAP Supply Chain projects, often across multiple sites. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside our product development team on the implementation of new mobile solutions, which you can find out more about here.

We strongly believe in forming true partnerships with our customers, based on honest and open communication, to ensure we provide innovative SAP integration solutions. We adopt a collaborative approach to consultancy, both with customers and internally; you will have the opportunity to learn from other experienced SAP consultants, in an environment where we share insights and work together to develop the best solutions for our customers.

While we are looking for consultants with experience in configuring EWM and WM, we would also be keen to hear from people with knowledge of TM, QM, PP, PM, SD and MM. If you are someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, solving Supply Chain challenges and working on large-scale SAP Supply Chain implementations, while also helping to develop lesser experienced consultants, then we would love to hear from you.

"I really enjoy working at The Config Team and I would encourage people with all levels of experience to apply. You'll be welcomed into a community of experts with great minds. Expect to be tested on complex projects, and have a steep learning curve, while gaining exposure to the latest SAP innovations. You'll have a great time. I'm still here after over 17 years!"

SAP Superusers

Considering a move from an SAP superuser to an SAP Consultant?

We are familiar with the challenges people face when moving from using SAP in a day-to-day role to SAP consultancy, and we know it can seem daunting without any consulting experience. Many of our consultants have made this transition and we would be happy to chat to you about their experiences.

We look for people who are using SAP Supply Chain applications as part of their current role and are interested to learn more about configuration. We are particularly interested in hearing from people with SAP EWM, WM, IM and S/4HANA experience, but are also keen to speak with candidates familiar with SAP SD, QM, PP, TM or MM Supply Chain modules.

Configuration experience is not always necessary as we provide the relevant tools, sandbox systems, environment, projects and supportive structure for people to develop configuration skills.

If you are interested in finding out how you could progress into an SAP consultancy role, our recruitment team is happy to talk you through the possible options. We are also happy to discuss potential roles for those currently enjoying project work, to start after your project has been completed. We consider all levels of experience and if there are no current roles that are right for you, it would be great to hear from you and we can keep in touch for future opportunities.

"I was working for an end-user and had the opportunity to work on an SAP WM implementation. I really enjoyed being involved with an implementation project, and once it was live I was keen to get involved with more project work. The challenges of SAP consultancy appealed to me and that's when I joined The Config Team. I received fantastic training and support to develop my configuration skills and now enjoy solving different challenges for customers every day."

Graduates

12 month Graduate Academy

We strongly believe in the investment and development of graduates. We want to create a workplace that enables, empowers and offers the best framework, tools and environment to build a strong foundation for a successful career.

Our Graduate Academy is a structured 12-month programme commencing each September. You will join the Academy in the position of Associate Consultant and can expect to gain the necessary understanding of SAP Supply Chain solutions, along with a strong foundation in consultancy skills, that will enable you to start your journey to becoming an SAP Consultant.

Associate Consultants are typically involved with learning new SAP software, building demo warehouses in our ‘sandbox’ system, the development of new SAP applications, system specifications, technical developments and visiting customers with senior consultants. Ongoing training can include internal workshops, textbook and online learning. Under the guidance of a mentor, Associate Graduates will also have the opportunity to gain live hands-on project experience and put newly developed SAP consultancy skills to practice.

Enrolling on the Graduate Academy is a permanent position and, after successful completion of the programme, you will have the opportunity to progress into four main functions:

  • Functional Consultant
  • Technical Consultant
  • Application Support Consultant
  • Project Manager

We look for optimistic, confident and collaborative graduates, who can bring their own minds and creative ideas, and would enjoy travel opportunities.
