Job title: Software Engineer

Employment:  Permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Location: Hybrid/ remote UK based

Role Overview:

In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers in Agile, cross-functional teams, gaining hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle. You’ll contribute to building and maintaining full-stack applications, APIs, and integrations, while learning best practices around secure coding, testing, and code quality. There will be a large emphasis on UI design and improvements so creativity will be welcomed!

Job requirements

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, UI5).

  • Strong experience with back-end development (e.g. Node.js, .NET, Java, Python).

  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).

  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

  • Experience with unit testing and integration testing frameworks.

  • Understanding of security best practices in software development.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP).
